Mac OS X Snow Leopard was the upgrade 9.99? i notice on the apple site its 14.95 did it go up?
I still see it as 9.95.
Are you looking at the Canada website?
It's $9.95 in the US. $14.95 is in Australia and maybe some other countries too.
The $9.99 price is for people who bought macs after WWDC only.
I don't think that was the issue in question

Sweet, I just joined up this forum and already finding much valuable information.
I found the PDF order form googling around.
Hope this helps fellow MBP Snow Leopard Upgraders on this board.
p.s. MacDawg, I graduated from GT. Hello there friend.
thanks i read it wrong.
a newbie that knows how to google. This is a rare occasion.
For those of us running 10.5 who will get it for $30, how will they verify we are 10.5 users? I haven't seen any type of form for those of us who bought Leopard laptops before June 8th.
Nobody knows yet, there may be a check on the disc for 10.5, and if you don't have it, you wasted $29.
Can you pre-order Snow Leo already or do you have to wait until Sept when its released?
You have to wait. IIRC, Apple and Amazon did a preorder, starting a few weeks early, that delivered Leopard on release day.
has apple ever done a digital download OS release before? Id hate to have to wait for the discs in the mail ;p
No they haven't.
Its $13 cdn.
On the South African site its: US$9.95 (http://www.apple.com/za/macosx/uptodate/)
Sweet I'd so pay $10.
Thanks for the reminder.
if you bought your mac online from apple do you need to send in that pdf? i thought i saw on the apple site that you can just do it online but now i cant find it again.
Someone have a link for Canada? Whenever I click the link it makes me sign in and takes me to the shopping cart
will the up to date disk and the regular $30 dollar disk for snow leopard users be the same.
It is possible, but we don't know for sure.
