MAC OS X Spinning wheel

Strangely enough, troubles in movie playback (w/Quicktime as default player app, wer solved using the freeware Chroma. No big trouble otherwise. I got a stable 10.5.2 on MiniMac 2GHz, crossed fingers.

It says its $22 on their website .

I will try it though. One question though. Have you tried any 1080p from the apple website?
I havent yet, but will do as soon as i get home. Can you try too and let me know, please?

My bad, i will hit a demo deadline in 8 days...i had to check the about box to see the info, there’s no nag window at launch.

As for the 1080p, i don’t see a link to dl anything on Apple site (i checked there. Those are QT stream links. Or i missed smthg.

Yep. The streams.

Cant even play those. The 1080p and 720p still choppy sometimes.

since upgrading to 10.8.3 I get spinning cursor even if one application is running so force quit is no answer at all. I zapped the pram...no effect....disk utilites...no help

Open Activity Monitor and go to the System Memory* tab and look for Page Outs and Swap used and report back.

I get 0 swaps used and 0 for page outs

I have gone back from 10.8.3 to 10.8.2 by erasing HD
and restoring with time machine up to the day before
I did the .3 update.
It does it less but its not gone
yet.
Pls advise, thanks
