    Hi

I recently upgraded my Hard Drive from 5400 RPM to 7200 RPM all is well except the original installation disc i booted from was a 2008 version of Mac OS X Leopard. I've already installed the latest Software Updates but can't seem to get GarageBand updated. I don't necessarily need the latest version of GB but V-2008 makes me feel like I'm working with a "rusty squeeze box" how do i install a later version ?

If i purchase GB individually (which is all i need) from Apple Mac Store, will i need to upgrade from my current OS X Leopard 10.5 to Snow Leopard to qualify ???

If thats the case ? Could i upgrade from OS X Leopard to SL for free ? If yes would this mean having to customize settings all over again for the new OS ?

GarageBand for Mac works with any Mac running OS X v10.6.6 or later. And if you use Mobile Me still you can do it for free! If not its only 30. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A. And you would not have to custom settings again.
