Has anyone setup a wireless print server with Mac OS X? The D-Link instructions are horrible for Mac. I've have the server configured and have 2 PC computers working with it now.

This is how I did it YMMV.

I did this at home using a Netgear WGPS606. I'm sharing two printers in the house, an HP All In One PSC2210 and an HP Photosmart printer.

Configuring the WGPS606 was a pain because all the setup software was windows based. To say the least the PC setups went fine. They are using some sort of IP port for the communication with the Print Server. THey also use the HP print driver to send to the Print Server. No problems.

The Mac's are a different story. Once the Print Server is setup I set up the Macs using their document at: http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/N101570.asp
The trouble is the included LPD deamon printers don't match up very well to the actual printers. So when the Mac was printing it was missing pages or they were offset. It was a real mess.

I went to the Linux Printer Project http://www.freestandards.org/en/OpenPrinting
Got the latest HP driver source code. Compiled it, and installed it. Used it to select my particular printers and everything works fine. YMMV.

That being said. If I really want to print and care how it looks or if I need any special features, like the scanner or ink levels, I need to connect directly and use the HP drivers.
