Mac OSX instead of windows xp

Hi.

I got yesterday a second hand mac book pro.
It has a windows xp installd but not Mac OSX and there is`nt bootcamp.

how can i install mac osx instead of the windows xp?

First thing to do is to post the exact model of your Mac....Then call Apple who will provide you with install disks ( if it has an optical drive)

Otherwise, you can erase the existing Windows partition using Disk Utility, then downloading a copy of OSX from the internet.

It all depends on how old your Mac is as to which version it will support.

Does the Mac have an optical drive? If so, disks are available from Apple...be careful to buy the right ones though...the grey install media that was supplied with older Macs is model specific.
