When downloading the new updates, is there a folder where these updates are stored in? Only problem is a new update which is like 500mb, we have 4 macs in the house and don't want to have to use up all our GB usage downloading this update 4 times.

Duff-Man says....if you are updating multiple computers your best bet is to download the combo updater from Apple's website. When using software update there is an option to "download only" and save the update - it will open to the proper folder when the download is done - but the problem with doing that for multiple computers is that software update sometimes gives different versions of the update to different computers depending on the model, what is already installed etc so installing one of those on a different Mac could create havoc and you'll end up with a hosed system.....oh yeah!
