depending on the specs of your machine it should be able to run osx 10.5, it wont run 10.6 because it's PPC architecture not intel, click on the apple button top left corner of your screen and hit about this Mac, depending on the ram installed it might be better to install 10.4 unless your willing to upgrade

I would iUpgrade that iBook ^_^
Get yourself a newer Macbook. =)
If you can't afford it, go mow some lawns or rob a bank. You can
pick one up used for a few hundred bones.

I can imagine that it will run Tiger just fine. Tiger runs on a G3.

Because you have 10.3 on it, you probably don't have the last upgraded version of the iBook G4, so I have to agree with the above poster, put 10.4 on it. Leopard is usable on a G4, but it probably wouldn't be fast enough for you.

I know. I was kiddin' ahahah. Hey though I was thinking about picking
up a powerbook for nostalgic purposes lately! =)

But robbing a bank would be so fun!
    "Listen up, this a robbery!"
Thinking about Pulp Fiction is fun...

Thinking about running out with bagz of money and being shot by the
    police.....

    Not so fun.
