Mac Outlook 2011 email Archiving failure

Mac OUtlook 2011 consistently fails when exporting email for archiving purposes. All other archiving of calendar, contacts, notes, etc. are successful. Does anyone have a solution for this fault. Outlook has sent an error report to Microsoft each time.
