After reformatting my HD, I can no longer access my PowerBook on my network from my PC.
I used a different "short name" when I loaded Panther back onto my HD, and when I went to my Windows computer to create a new Network Place, this is the result I get:
I've been to the network setup thread here and tried the steps there, including setting up Samba in Directory Access, but I still have had no success.
I seem to be able to connect to my shared folders on my PC just fine, although there were some authentication issues at first. I could connect to the folders, but couldn't copy anything to or from them. This issue has apparently mysteriously resolved itself.
