After reformatting my HD, I can no longer access my PowerBook on my network from my PC.

I used a different "short name" when I loaded Panther back onto my HD, and when I went to my Windows computer to create a new Network Place, this is the result I get:

I've been to the network setup thread here and tried the steps there, including setting up Samba in Directory Access, but I still have had no success.

I seem to be able to connect to my shared folders on my PC just fine, although there were some authentication issues at first. I could connect to the folders, but couldn't copy anything to or from them. This issue has apparently mysteriously resolved itself.

make sure that you have windows file sharing turned on, this could be the thing that is stopping it. make sure you have the right IP address.

Windows File Sharing is on and I used the IP given at the bottom of the Sharing window.
