Hi, has anybody had this problem?

i have set up iCloud on my mac (2008 iMac) both manually and automatically and it wont connect or go online in mac mail i just get the triangle with the explanation mark, i have tried to set up my iCloud email in outlook for 2011 and that gives some random error message!, but if i add the account in outlook 2010 on a windows laptop its fine

its not my isp blocking ports, i can access iCloud.com fine, i have had mobile me for years!

any ideas?, its driving me nuts
