mac port on sierra

    has any one installed mac macport on sierra and if
    how did you configure it

    What do you mean with ‘configure’? You just install it.

    It works fine for me.

    I installed it to aid in running generators that are now blocked but I did not see a difference
    maybe I installed it for all the wrong reasons

    You have to elaborate a bit more. MacPorts is a collection of mostly command-line programs. You use it to install open-source packages. What is it that you are trying to accomplish? Are you looking for a specific program?
