Yes, but that doesn't stop them from trying to get the warranty to support it. 😱 😀 😛If someone is dumb enough to be able to bend the pins on that CPU tray they deserve whats coming 😛
I recall a backplane that came back with the connectors in a plastic baggie. 😱 Broke the joints, andtore traces off of the board. 🙄 I could see bad joints causing one to pop off (cold, and lead-free solder was much newer, so it was really horrible stuff), but they wouldn't have done the damage to the PCB that was there (not just lifted, but ripped off during an immediate removal). That meant there was a substantial "slamming home" of the drive.
