Mac Pro 1,1 / 2,1 RAM Question

If upgrading my Mac Pro to 32 GB, will any PC2-5300F 667 MHZ DDR2 RAM work in it? (4G or 8G Sticks)

I read and watched a video that mentioned doing 4 8 GB sticks was a bad idea...anyone have this configuration and not have any issues?

Regular FB-DIMMs will work fine in your Mac Pro

the one thing to look out for is, "4Rx4" Ranking RAM will not work in a Mac Pro 1,1-2,1. make sure to only get "2Rx4" ranking RAM

4 8GB sticks will work fine (Just make sure to get "2Rx4" RAM)

Thanks for the information...I ended up finding some 2Rx4 4G Sticks to get to me 32GB...appreciate the help!
