I recently got a cMP 1.1 and upgraded it with 32GB (8x4GB) FBDIMMs (non-Apple). Today I swapped the stock heatspreaders on them with the larger stock Apple heatsinks from an 8x512MB kit, and want to make sure the temps are alright.
Problem is, I only get a module temp from one of the 8 sticks (Riser A slot 2 to be exact). This is true in both iStat Menus (registered) and Hardware Monitor (trial). Attached are screenshots from both.
What gives? I've seen posts where people have temps from all of their modules. These modules are identical Hynix ones so I'd think if one provides a temp all 8 should. Is there another program I should try?
Edit: I should mention this is on El Capitan (10.11.6 using the modified boot.efi) with the stock 1.1 firmware (as far as I know).
