This has probably been answered before. Searched but couldn't find my answer. Found threads on the 6870, but I'm focused on the 6770.
From my understanding, the 6770 is a relabeled 5770. Based on what I've read, a flashed 5770 can be used to install ML with Chameleon.
My question is, if I buy a 6770 and flash it, will I be able to use it to install ML on my Mac Pro 1,1?
Also, will I see a boot screen? I only have a 7300 GT and these cards throw kernel errors from what here when installing ML using Chameleon.
Not to mention NewEgg has the 6770 on a sale for just under $90.
