I recently did a processor swap (a couple of weeks ago) and its been purring along very nicely until today.. The RAM boards lit up like a christmas tree and the fans kicked in like I never heard them before.

I restarted and the fans are back to normal BUT the temps are jumping around a couple of Degrees every second! And Am I missing something like core 1 temp on CPU1??? [IMG]

I'd say it's either iStat Pro having issues or your temp sensor is broken.
Macs shut themselfs down automatically at about 110° C to prevent damage.
So if EVERYTHING on your machine is above 100° - you would burn your hand just touching the case.

    Do an SMC reset.

sorry yes in Fahrenheit... However am I missing some sensor readings in that pic?

and normally does the temperatures on the processors have 6+ degree(F) jumps every second?

    You're doing great.
I'm doing nothing but listening to music, surfing and write some stuff in Pages, that means CPU load 3%.

Jumps are not a problem since your CPU loadis jumping too ;) 6° F ain't much.
