The other day my friend introduced me to the wonderful world of SLI and I started pondering this question:

If my Mac Pro 1.1 has 3 original GeForce 7300 GT graphics cards, could I link them with a three way SLI bridge and have it make a difference in performance? Or is my stuff too old for that?

    1. Not worth the bother

    2. Won't work in OS X

3.Not worth the bother, and I do not belleve you can actually connect 3 of them as they have a single SLi port each.

SLI does not and may never work under OS X. The 7300 GT that shipped with the 1,1 is pathetic by today's standards. If you're looking for increased performance from your video card, get a new one. Check the thread at the top of the forums for ideas and guidance.
