Mac Pro 1,1 with GeForce 7300 GT and HP ZR30w issues

Hello,
my new HP ZR30w won't work together with my Mac Pro 1,1 and his Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT. System is 10.6.8. I tried different options with the DVI-Ports on the back, changed the DualLink-DVI cable and read the Apple Discoussions. Nothing is working, the screen is still black. It's not off, its shining black.
What can i do? Is there a solution for or do i have to buy an other graphic card?

MacPro (Mid 2010) with ATI Radeon HD5770 works well with HP ZR30w.

Could be the graphics card. It should be a dual link-dvi cable plugged in to DVI port 1 on the card, but I assume you've tried that. It should also work on the other but with half the resolution. If nothing is happening it does seem likely a hardware fault may be the reason.
