hi guys.
I have followed this forum long time but now i needed to register because i have problems with my mp and didnt find solves anywhere.

So i recently bought radeon HD5770 and flashed it and i have boot screens and so on.
I changed my audio interface to RMEs hdspe madi (pcie) and i also have UAD 2 dsp card installed.

Yesterday i went to do some updatings and just checked system info and noticed that all of my pcie slots are running link width x1 and link speed 2.5gt/s

List looks like this

ATI Radeon HD5770 / display controller /driver installed Yes / slot-1
ATI Radeon HD5770 / ATY, vervetparent / driver installed no / slot-1
pci10ee, 3fc6 (rme) / audio. / driver installed yes / slot-2
Universal audio uad2 / other multimedia/ driver installed yes / slot-3

Then when i go and check any of those cards it shows vendot id’s and so on and at the bottom:
link width: x1
Link Speed: 2.5 GT/s

I also tried to move rme to slot-4 but it didn’t fix the problem.

Shouldnt i have link width at least x4 or even x16?
And how i can fix this?
All help is appreciated.

Im running 10.11.6
2 x 2,8 ghz processors and 32gb ram

When i bought this machine it was upgraded with apples own gt120 card and i still have it as backup card.
Could that radeon force every slot to work only at x1 or whats causing it?

And thanks for the help allready :)

I have no idea what caused link width to go x16 but here is what i did.
After i tried smc and nvram pvram resets with no luck i decided to plug gt120 to slot 1 and 5770 to slot 2.
After restart it showed that gt120 is running at x16 5gt/s and 5770 x16 2.5gt/s.
So i shut down the computer, took the gt120 out and put 5770 back in slot 1 and restarted. Now it showed up running x16 2.5gt/s as it should be.
So as i said earlier in this post, i have no idea what fixed it but now its working as flashed cards do (2,5gt/s and x16)
