Hi, I am unable to find this simple piece of info on the web. What is the rating on the Mac Pro PSU (2008).?

Mine is on order, and I am checking my requirements on my existing UPS grid.

I believe it's 1kW, but the machine is very unlikely to ever draw that much power.

Wow quick reply thanks. If thats the case thenI am a happy bunny as my 1500VA unit will do the job (my ex-PC had a 1kw unit in it).

That 3007 will draw a lot of power too. My UPS usage lights goes up a notch just for the monitor. Conversely, if I just power the MBP with the monitor, only one indicator comes on.
