Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what the maximum Watt rating for the power supply in the 2010 Mac Pro is (6 core 3.33GHz in particular, but I doubt they'd change the PSU based on processor). I trust that Apple would make sure it was "sufficient," but....

I'm interested in doing some extra stuff with mine and want to make sure power won't be a problem. Some fun stuff like adding the following to the existing config:

    - Radeon 5770 to complement the 5870 currently in it (with http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8...xpress_to_Dual_PCI-Express_62pin_Y-Cable.html adapter)
    - 4X WD Velociraptors w/ 3rd party RAID card

So essentially, I want to make sure it can handle "3" video cards as far as power, along with 4x 10,000rpm drives, 1 SSD, 2x 7200rpm drives.

I know these are #0thworldproblems, but figured I'd ask anyway. It's a great machine, but could be so much more :).

    Thanks in advance.

edit: I had checked the usual suspects for parts but no one had the PSU listed. Looks like applecomponents.com does though, it's 980 W, EUR LOT 6 ( http://www.applecomponents.com/item...ur-lot-6/0000004938?pn=2&cmp=0174&per_page=30 )

I believe the '09 and '10 models use the same power supply. 980 Watts is the supplied amount.
