mac pro 3,1 dual 2.8 firewire cannot be found?

ok so the one that mounts, wont unmount for a repair...

can i still make an image of its contents and reload it on another drive?

WOW! put the external inside as an internal and it works fine! must be my firewire external containers? both macally, both just took a dump i guess, but 1 hard drive is still clicking and not being read but i know its full, so i what can i do not to access it?

ok so is it possible to have someone else read this hard disk in hopes of getting the contents off of it? or can one take it apart and replace items to fix it so i can take the contents off?
