Mac Pro 3,1 SSD Upgrade

FYI, I bought Kingston V300 60gb 2 years ago, and its controller couldn't handshake 3gb connection with my mbp's amd chipset. They tried to fix the ssd in UK, but eventually sent me 120gb version that worked.
 
Just wonderin' who and how often needs faster speeds than sata2?
Running OS from ssd is 10x faster than from hdd even with sata1.
