Mac Pro 3.1 target display

Hi, I have an iMac 27 late 2011, and was offered a Mac Pro 3.1 Mac Pro 12core 24thread Dual CPU 2.66ghz, but I don't know if I can connect it to my iMac. Thank you.

Unlike the 2010 models, Target Display Mode on the 2011 models requires Thunderbolt. No classic Mac Pro ever shipped with Thunderbolt.
