Hi all,
I read that you can buy a PC GPU and install it into an older Mac Pro. I have an early 2009 Mac Pro and purchased the EVGA GT 740 and it's not working. I can hear/ see the fan on the card working, but I did not connect the 6 pin cord into it. Do I need to do that? (It didn't come with the correct type of cord connection for the Mac Pro).
I also downloaded the WebDriver from here Nvidia Web Driver - 346.03.04f01 --> build 15C50.

I do get the chime when it boots up.

What should I do next?

From what I've heard that card isn't that powerful so it doesn't really need the cord. Plus it is being powered, I can hear the fan going inside of it.
