I recently dropped in a EFI modded 480 GTX in my 2009 Mac Pro (from MacVidCards - LOVE IT!) but one thing I was wondering was, will the HDMI output on the 480 support audio out as well in ML? I don't see that as an option in the sound configuration, but I haven't actually tried a HDMI cable in the card either. I have not installed any drivers either; this is strictly plug and play.

I am right now using a DVI to HDMI cable, which of course is only video output and was looking at one of the DVI+Audio -> HDMI converter boxes, but I was wondering if that is even necessary.

I have also just recently done the netkas 5,1 firmware update, so I'm not sure if that addresses any issues or not.

    Thanks!

Sadly there are no drivers whatsoever for audio via HDMI.

Alas, no worries. I think I'm going to try one of those DVI Video + Audio Merger boxes.

    Thanks!!!
