Hi

I’m using a Mac Pro with an Accelsior E2 as boot drive. Initially on 10.8.5 Mountain Lion and now on Yosemite 10.10.1. Boot time was almost instantaneous on ML and is now noticeably slower on Yosemite.

Can any other users with the same set up confirm this for me please? Is this normal? I’m not running Trim Enabler.

Thanks.

I have a 5,1 with the accelsior, the boot time is very fast but not as fast as i thought it would be, ive never had ML installed on it. But i will say i had a MBP with a fusion drive that had ML on it, which was a quick boot time, and was certainly a slower boot time when i upgraded to Yosemite. So unfortunately i think yosemite does just take longer to boot than ML did.
