Hello,

Just wondering why this is happening to my 5,1. I have the machine booted into Big Sur via OpenCore Legacy Patcher, and when I put it to sleep via Apple Menu > Sleep, it goes to sleep, then wakes up every minute, then goes back to sleep again. Anyone know why this is happening?

I had the same problem with a Mac Pro 5,1. I could never figure it out. So I would always shut it down when not in use. I discovered the cause of the problem when setting up a Mac Pro 2013. It was a defective mouse, which caused much more serious problems with that computer -- it would overheat while in sleep mode. I never realized that a defective mouse (which still seemed to work properly) could cause such a serious issue. It would be worthwhile to check the mouse.
