Hi guys! I was led here on my quest for a definative answer!

I have a single processor 2.8GHz Harpertown Mac Pro and want to add a second processor. I know there are other posts on this forum but they all seem to end up in a debate over whether the upgrade is worth it. I know there is a second socket and that it doesnt come with a heatsink. I can source a matching Xeon and an official Apple heatsink from MacPalace.com.

What I want to know is: is it actually possible to add another processor?

I know about the relative perfomance gains [or lack thereof in some applicatons]. Please dont try to advise me if it is worth it. I dont care about resale and my warranty is nearly up, my inner nerd just really wants another 4 cores :) I just need a simple yes or no answer!

Thanks for yor help, and I'm sorry if I come across as a moody fool :p
