I know Apple have announced a new Mac Pro to be released later this year, but have they completely stopped selling the current model?
I can't see it anywhere on the online store...

If you're in the EU, Scrumpymacs also sells refurbished Mac Pros, with a 1 year RTB warranty. It's possible to upgrade that to 3 years as well.

Even in non EU European countries like Norway, UK and Sweden, it's not available, except in Russia.
    They still sell it there.

You may want to note that UK and Sweden have recently joined the EU... respectively in 1973 and 1995 ;)

And, being member of the European Economic Area, Norway has agreed to enact legislation similar to that passed in the EU in the areas of social policy, consumer protection, environment, company law and statistics.

    You're absolutely right.
I confused EU with the Euro Zone.
    Thanks for the correction.

Indeed :) and you can upgrade to the extended 3yrs at any point during the first year - might as well be called scrumpycare - I am going to take them on that myself.

Thanks, I just emailed with them, and there were speedy to reply (within minutes), and seem like a lovely bunch of people on the east coast of England normally do (?).
They also hope, that the new MP will be EXPENSIVE. Basterds. ;)

I recently ordered a 5.1 Mac Pro from them, it should arrive tomorrow according to UPS.

Do note that if you order a bespoke system there's a build and test phase of 7-14 working days. They apparently really put it through its paces to make sure it 100% great when it gets to you.

Ah I didn't know you could upgrade any time, I'll most likely do that later in the year then. :)
