Mac pro early 08 Display card replace, new card is coming

As I know ATI and nVidia will release ATI 5XXX and GTX 3, should I wait for them or just go to GTX 285 ?

I not a gamer, but I will play some 3D / 2D game 3 times a week.

P.S I'm afraid to flash rom.

When I playing Dynasty Warriors 6, it can't open the top setting.

Usually that means you need to update your drivers. The 8800 is a DX10 card, which means it should be able to do everything.
