Click to expand... Here's an SIL3132 based 2 port model that will work (won't boot OS X, but it's really inexpensive). SIL offers the drivers here. They're simple (no RAID functionality, but do work with SL and '09 machines).

The 4 port models are substantially more expensive though ($200USD vs. less than $20USD on eBay for the SIL3132 based card). 😉 But if there's a need, then that trumps cost. 😛
