Not bad. $200 off the regular model and $300 off the higher-end model.
not bad .. the hex core comes with 16gb ram and d500s for 1k more
I thought this machine would be $4999 so I'm impressed.
yea not bad .. what sucks is that it is still 256gb ssd .. i wonder how much it will be to upgrade to 1tb
True, that's not very much storage. It'll probably cost over $800 for 1TB.
Helpful if you are still in school, not so much if you have long since graduated.
I wonder if there will be third party ssd upgrades .. would be nice to get the 256 and then down the road update to 1tb
Very true but I normally just run the OS and a few programs off the SSD in my current computers. So not having 1 TB is no big deal to me I have enough external stroage which is the way Apple seems to be going (not that I approve).
I predict the iDrive and iRaid at some point in the future.
true .. on my current ssd main drive i only have used 55gb
Or exactly $800 if we go by the MBP pricing
1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage [Add $800.00]
This is what I was thinking. Seems logical.
