*I have edited this info for others to see this thread in case they are searching for it*

I have trolled macrumors, insanelymac and google to no avail, my question to those users out there....

In a Mac Pro 09-12 (4,1 5,1), what are the fan dimensions? I know some of the fans, but what are the ones for the heatsinks?
Looks like the single cpu and the dual cpu's have different fans.
I couldn't tell if they were 92, 80 or 60mm from all the pictures out there on the web.

These are the dimensions i know...
Intake fan - 120x35mm
Exhaust fan - 120x35mm
PSU fan - 120x25mm
PCI fan - 92x35mm
Single CPU heatsink - 80x??mm
Dual CPU heatsinks - 60x??mm

So wondering if anyone here could possibly put their 2 cents in if possible.

Also, if anyone has a guide on how to take out and reinstall those cpu fans would be nice too.

Should be:
Single tray: 1x 80 mm
Dual tray: 2x 60 mm
Not sure about the thickness (looks like 25 mm) but it‘s (almost) impossible to find 3rd party replacements with the speed range of the original fans.
All other fans can easily be replaced by (almost) silent 3-pin fans by re-arranging the pins.

i read that thread, im surprised that i missed that info, maybe i was skimming to quickly. thanks for the info, now to order some fans and see if i can quiet down my mac

The single tray is 80x25 mm. The two 60 mm are probably the same.
I‘m not linking the video from the screenshot below, as he uses PWM fans and an external fan controller.
Thanks to the thread above, we know better.

i just asked in a different post about the pinouts for these heatsinks and got an answer
sweet, thank you

from what i can see, i should be able to retrofit a header into that blank area so that anyone can plug in a fan and just go
