Hi, so in Canada our Best Buy/Futureshop website offers Macbook Pros/iMacs/Mac Pros/Mac Minis in an English version or a French version.

I work at a Best Buy and have looked up the discounts we get on the products. We get a bigger discount on the French versions.

If I ordered a French Apple products could I simply change the language (because I don't speak French) or is more complicated than that?

Thanks,

PS looking at a Mac Pro - so I'm not concerned with peripherals like the keyboard layout and such.

From my memory, no matter which version you have, it should ask you to choose language on first start.

Yep, you get to change the language on first boot so as far as I know the only differences are the keyboard layout and maybe the printed documentation.

as he's looking to buy a mac pro, the keyboard isn't included.
