Mac Pro Hard Drives - 3 choices

I've been fortunate never to have a HDD fail, at least not at home (at work, I went through 3 Maxtors in the space of 2 months).

But that's good to know about my OEM drives. I was under the impression that they weren't covered, or that the manufacturer would do whatever they could do to claim exemption from coverage.

I've been using and recommending the WD Caviar drives for data storage, but it looks as though it's time to give the Samsung F1 a try.

Does anybody know of a direct noise comparison between these two drives? Transfer speed comparison?
