Mines on the Ikea mount under the desk on the left side so the access panel comes off without hitting the legs. I'm of mixed opinion on it, I hear the computer less which is good, but my Bluetooth is worse.

I like having it on top too, I can see it access it and listen for anything strange..

But underneath it's quieter, and out of the way..

Right now I fancy it under the desk, bit that may change tomorrow

Yea, right now, I prefer it on top of my desk, I mean, it is a beautiful machine too look at and admire. So I don't mind too much.
