    Hi all,

This may sound silly, but I am desperate. Hear me out.

I have two(2) Jaz disks (or cartridges, whatever you call them) of which I'd like to take some important image files off. Those were Mac formatted a long time ago and I haven't accessed them ever since when Jaz was sort of hot (along with Zip). Yes, a long time ago. I searched for places, like Kinkos, where I can retrieve those files with help of finding a Jaz drive hooked up to a Mac but no luck there.

So, I searched on the Internet, like Craigslist or eBay, and found Jaz drives for sale. However, they are all SCSI based as you know. I have a Mac Pro. I assume I need a SCSI card or something, but would it work with my Mac Pro?

I thought of asking those who put their Jaz drives for sale on Craigslist for help, like accessing those files on my Jaz disks and burning them onto DVDs, but realized most of them are PC based. So, I am afraid that it would end up reformatting my disks and erasing those files instead. So, I haven't done that yet.

At this moment, I don't know what my options are. Any ideas?

    Cheers! :apple:
