from shake either:

1. render uncompressed frame sequence (TIFF/TGA/PNG for example) and then bring this into Final Cut

2. render as a compressed quicktime movie (ProRes is probably ok tbh)

but it really depends what you're doing and how it needs to be delivered.

I want the flexibility to deliver them in any format even after some years. So I won't have go back to do post again. So it;s ok to render finished Post Production scenes in ProRes and keep them like that?
...and if i need to deliver a scene I just open the ProRes encoded finish and use Compressor to encode for the type of authoring i need at that point in time. Is this ok?
