Mac Pro: Tower of 16-Core Power?

haha you'll all love this, my friend Evan is convinced, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the new Mac Pro can/does incorporate 16 Cores 😱, with the "8 Core Penryn,"😕 I cannot convince him that Apple's add "Tower of 8-Core Power" just means 8 Cores (and he's even a major mac fanatic). Please knock some sense into this thread...I plan on showing him the thread later so flame as much as you want.
