I am staring at this empty fan header on my (dead) board and am wondering if a fan could be installed here (specifically for the Northbridge); are the necessary components in place to tap into it? I am aware of proprietary pinout scheme Apple settled on for these computers.

I will measure voltage values once I have a working board.

EDIT: I soldered some wires in (impossible to get a multimeter back here with the CPU tray installed)

Tested values when turned on and I'm getting ~12V on 2 of the wires, and about 2-3V on the third (fourth is ground).

Is this thing ready to be wired up??
