Hey Guys -- i need to upgrade my Mac Pro. A year or so ago I was going to get the Sapphire 7950 (mac edition), but never got around to it. Now it's time. Is the 7950 still the best choice? Its kind of old now. Anything better/compatible out there? What about the GTX 680?

thanks

It really depends on your workflow. The 7950 Mac Edition may be still the best one for plug and play, no 8 pin required, no extra driver required, and no need to flash for boot screen.

However, if you don't mind to pay a little extra effort on those stuff, or no boot screen. You can have a much better card (e.g. 280X or 980).
