Hello All,

I have just signed up for .Mac yesterday and have been experiencing some little problems.

I have set my .mac prefs to sync my ical and my bookmarks etc... but when i log into .mac on the internet none of these are synced. The bookmarks folder online is showing as empty and when i click the calendar it just takes me to a page telling me how great the syncronisation between ical and .mac is.

Also the address book sync hasnt worked either.

Any ideas?

Thanks for you help in advance.

you wont be able to see any of your iCal syncs online.. which is quite a shame.. (unless you publish cals to a webdav server)

have you tried resetting sync data in the .mac prefs and then re-sync?

As far as I've ever been able to tell, syncing your calendars/address book/etc. to .Mac means you can sync them between your Macs, but not necessarily that you can view them online.

However, I'd hold on and give it a chance to win you over. With the new iPhone releasing in just over a week the rumor mill (usually pretty accurate) is very sure there's a robust revamp/replacement for .Mac in the works (probably called "MobileMe" or "me.com," and I'd bet it will enable you to see and edit your calendars and address book online. It doesn't make any sense not to, since Google can already do it, and since it would be a great thing for iPhones.
