Mac, PS3, Null River Media Link, and HP Media Server

Hello,

My plan is to use my Macbook to connect to my PS3 with Null River MediaLink. Streaming over my network is too slow so I need to copy the files over to the PS3 to play it properly. Since PS3 has only a 80G hard drive, I want to put a HP Media Server on the network for more storage and use it as my main storage.

I will need to use my macbook to connect to the PS3 but will Media link be able to see the HP Media Server on the network?
Is there a better way to do this?
