I have a .mac membership that has 70 days before needing to be renewed.. i bought a computer today and got a discounted .mac box with a number inside of it... if i renew with that number today will i lose the 70 days that i had prior? or will it add 365 to my 70 days?

In 70 days, your current account will end and the new one will begin. Doesn't matter when you renew, you will still get all of your remaining days.
