Hi All, Always been a Windows PC user and now looking at possibly replacing with a MAC. Just want it for personal use, usual stuff emails, browsing etc, but also for video downloads. Anyone recommend a suitable model?

If you want to get your feet wet in OS x then get a Mini. If you are seriously looking consult the MacRumors Buyer's Guide. The iMacs are mostly going to be updates by the fall after Mountain Lion is released and Apple solved the new Retina Display Technology for the iMac.

I think the Mac Pro is a bit over powered for your needs. If you download a lot of videos you may want to checkout some external storage options for an iMac or mini.
If you have a monitor already or want to keep costs down, a mini is a great way to jump in for pretty cheap. If you want to get the iMac type of setup with the built in display you should wait for the refresh.
You may want to checkout the portable options too if you're up to it, that hardware is pretty nice.
