In a recent MacRumors post was the following information:

So, what's your best guess as to the breakdown of Mac sales? I want to limit this to the time period listed (20 million Macs since 2015) and keep it to three categories:
    1. Mobile Macs (including MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air)
    2. iMacs and Mac Mini's (all models)
    3. Mac Pros
Channel your inner statistical psychic and give your best guess. To start things off, and based on nothing more than my substantial gut, I think the breakdown is something like this:
    1. 55% Mobile Macs
    2. 35% iMacs and Minis
    3. 10% Mac Pros

I would guess that the number of desktops is greater and Mac Pros less.

Mac Pros at 10%? No way. I think it's less than 1%.

    My guess
    MBA, MBP, MB 80%
    iMac, Mac mini 19%
    Mac Pro 1%

You could do some resale data mining in ebay .. completed sales .. roll up by models using a spreadsheet. That would give you some indication of the turnover for used Macintoshes sold on ebay, which would be a representative sampling.
