Does this mean that we'll FINALLY get new and better templates for Homepage, and possibly a storage upgrade to 1 GB???

(2) .mac provides other services in addition to email. Also, I trust Apple a heck of lot more in regards to privacy than I do Google.

Apple makes money from hardware and software. Read the user agreements for both .Mac and GMail at some point. There are a couple of things in the GMail policy that bother me.
