My jailbroken iPhone was caught in an endless reboot cycle, so I had to restore to 3.1.3. For some reason, my photos and SMS messages were not restored.

Is there software for Mac (I'm looking in the $20 range, preferably cheaper) that can read iPhone backup files and retrieve the information? I tried a trial of MobileSyncBrowser, but it is $20 and seems unprofessional and unstable.

Are there any other options I have? I just want my lost photos and SMS transcripts. I'm not looking to put the photos back in the camera roll, nor am I trying to restore the messages to the Messages app. Thank you!
